lowering my Elite?

Hi all, just a silly question, i dont really know a great deal about my 2001 Elite's self leveling suspension as yet but ive just bought a set of 40mm lowered springs off fleebay will there be any problems that i might incur? the springs came off a MV6...

not entirely sure but i would think it best to fit mv6 shocks from face lift lowered sports chassis and pull the self level fuse. Or unplugg the pump itself. Elite shocks and springs are designed to work together at a set side hight. Would be concerned self level shocks might fail early with your springs, even if the self level was reset to the correct hight, either by tech2 if it has that option, or by altering the wire tie rod on hight sensor arm.
