Exhaust dilemma

Out of interest (and avoiding a long winded story) - how much is an OEM backbox for a 2.5V6 Omega actually worth??

When you say OEM do you mean VX original?

I do indeed mean VX original.

I bought one last week with the intention of fitting at the weekend, however years of rust (flipping thing wouldn;t bdge an inch) and a desire not to cause untold damage to the centre section put me off trying to remove it.

So I tried to return the backbox  today but the parts manager seemed reluctant to take it. He ended up giving me a full refund and then sold it for a knockdown price as it was "old stock they'd rather be rid of".
