Removing estate rear seat left and right headrests
« on: 23 September 2009, 12:36:10 »

Can the rear left and right headrests on an estate be removed.  I'm aware that they fold down for when you want to put the seat flat, but can they actually be taken out?

BTW this is on a facelift if that makes any difference.

Are you talking about the front driver and passenger headrests as I know there's a button to press that means you can pull them out.

On a FL rears they dont come off, only fold down by pushing the center button. There is a way of getting the top bit off iirc but your then left with the two metal prongs sticking out of the actual back seat.

Would think if you started to take the back panel off the seat you could remove the whole lever bit. If that helps.

Cheers for the responses.  I will have a nose around and see if I can get the headrest off somehow.
