Headlight Query
« on: 02 October 2009, 13:59:38 »

Just got my self a 2.5 elite estate ;) and its coming up on the Display something about (Low Beam Field/vision) also its saying there is a brake light not working, however i have checked the lights they all appear to work.

Any ideas what these mean and how to put right.

Check level sensors behind N/s front and rear wheels. Plastic arm usually pops out. As for bulb error if cheapo bulb fitted, will get message up. Use decent bulbs and problem fixed :y

If you get the message about the brake light when you start the car it should go away if it is facelift and all bulbs are working, if it doesn't go away problem is in cheap bulbs.
As for low beam there can be a number of reasons.
Here they are.
1. sensor arm poped off (front or back)
2. level motor is dead
3. Sensor is dead.
Check in that order.
