« on: 02 October 2009, 17:06:12 »

Fitting new front Vauxhall discs and pads tomorrow, just for the last time, the pad with the shim stuck on the back should be fitted against the piston - yes ??

yeah, but i thought the new pads have the shim already moulded to the pad and you just need to apply some copper grease :y

Yes I agree, but the kit has two plain 'pads' and two 'pads' with 'shims' attached, so the ones with the 'shim' attached should fit against piston, this has been a question in the past but is it correct ??
