I'd get to behind the head lining my removing the trim from around the sunroof. The trim just pulls off the A post IIRC, 3 clips I think.  :y

Unscrew the grab handle over the door. The trim piece is about 4 feet long and made from two different coloured pieces stuck together. IIRC it is held by 2 or 3 spring clips and is slipped in behind the rubber door seal.

why are you going to put it in roof lining as best way s the wiring loom from mid to back in the boot, lot easier, get a piece of long bendy thick wire lift up bottom corner on mid console push wire under the carpet, lift up back seat and push wire in and attach the wire for cctv to the wire and push and pull wire, about 10min's did it on mine for caravan cam. :y

It's not for reversing or a caravan,i use the miggy as a taxi.I have the same system fitted to my old taxi so once i can mount the camera no problems. The camera needs to to be mounted by the inside mirror. This way it will cover the hole interior. The pictures will them be sent to the recorder mounted in the glove box. Fitting the camera was a 10 minute in a volvo and a pug 406 but the miggy stumped me on how to remove the A pillar trim.

You don't need to remove the door rubber, it has a soft lip that sits over the trim. You just need to fold the lip back out of the way to get the trim off.

My pre-facelift was like that & I have just checked that my facelift is the same.
