STARTING ISSUE

I recently changed the oil cooler on my 2000 2,6 v6 now i am having starting issues if i drive 2 miles turn it off leave it 10 mins it starts ok same after about 7 miles but after 10 miles if i leave it for 10 mins it turns over put wont fire up.  then after about half hour it starts perfect (engine management light goes out after ignition as normal)

I've heard of problems like this before.

When it doesn't start, spray the crank sensor with a hose pipe. I know this sounds stupid. But if it starts afterwards, then you need a new sensor.

For this to work, there should be no recorded error codes as well. If there are error codes then it might be a different problem.

do a pedal trick, sounds like crank sensor is failing.
