Oil problem??
« on: 28 October 2009, 00:57:50 »

Hi guys! I have a problem with my 2.0 16v.. (1997.)

When i start up the engine the oil lamp at control board is on until i pump the gas pedal and hit 2500-3000 rpm..

I 've recently changed cylinder head gasket, valves seals,  timing belt, and regular stuff.. (engine oil, oil filter auxililary belt )

Does anyone knows what should i do?

p.s. sorry for my bad english  ::)

try rechecking your oil levels, just in case you have a leak or didn't top it up enough

or a blocked strainer, the recent work may have dislodged some crud which could have found it's way to the sump
