Very slight knocking from Front End

Hi
I'm begining to hear a very slight knocking from the front end  :-/ .... should i try the drop links first before the wishbones .... i need front discs and pads soon so would be aswell doing it all at once  :y

might be a idea to get a long bar under the wishbone's and see if there is any play in there  :y

On every VX I have had it has been the links attached to the front suspension. There's a very good motor factors at Buckhaven that should be able to help. Not too difficult to change, just need a couple of spanners and Bruce if he is available..... ;D ;D
