how can i tell if my elite 2.6 has cruise,  picked it up yesterday, it has the stalk with controls on it,

when pressing the  I button nothing happens, not sure if it is not fitted, or it is faulty.

are you doing over (18 iirc) miles an hour?

if working, it will maintain than speed, if not, it wont.

no indicators to show it is on.

If its an Elite is should have it, so sounds like it's not working if you're trying over 30kph. Sometimes this can be resolved by disconnecting the battery for a bit to reset ECU's etc. otherwise it may need a Tech2 to diagnose.

batt discon never does any good on modern cars
