Suspect the powersounder has started to fail. Remove it.

Did you try removing a battery lead for a while to see if it would reset :question.

Similar thing happened to my wife in Tescos on Friday.  Maybe a coincidence, but had just replaced missing front 400hz horn with one that was also not sounding-was awaiting some fiddling.

I have since ditched it and put another 500hz horn on to make pair of 500hz (sounds like 70s Peugeot!), but no more alarm soundings.  Is this a coincidence?

The service history shows two replacement of power-sounders and some alarm work-and when I bought the car, as stated-the front horn of the pair was missing.

Any comments/ideas?  :-?

May be useful to know... I had replaced missing front horn with one that was faulty, now fitted another and seems to have cured this-not happened since.

Only happened once-in the one day the faulty horn was fitted.
