Damp starting

Does anybody else have trouble starting their tractor when the weather is damp ?   ::)

My V6 went through a phase about a month ago of being reluctant to start so I used the ole WD all over and has been totally fine since.....

Nope mines fine.
Infact I started it yesterday for the first time in over a week, first turn of the key  :y

I dont understand why a diesel has trouble starting when it is damp. only ever had it before on the old petrol engines, mainly ford.

think i need to book it into the diesel specialists as the local garage seem a bit baffled with it !
