I know what you mean, the clicking is not that loud. Even the flashing gren light is not that obvious in strong sunlight. I suppose it would be easy to rig up a buzzer like when towing a Pikey Wagon.

Not sure if I am right, but on cars with a tow hook, when a rear light board is connected there is a louder buzzer thats active when the indicators are on.  If this is the case and the buzzer is fitted to the car as standard but not active till the wiring and tow ball fitted, then is there a way to make the buzzer active and also put a switch inline to be able to turn the buzzer off.

Just a thought.

The flasher relay is in the fuse box under the dash. You could always try a 4 pin flasher intended for use with a trailer, I've always found that the clicking on mine is louder than the original.

Update on holiday booking chaos
« Reply #5 on: 09 November 2009, 18:40:46 »

Hello everyone, been waiting for Thomsons to acknowledge receipt of my writeen formal complaint, received by them on the 23/10/09, but I have not heard nothing from them.
The travel agent phoned them today and they said that they had posted a reply to me,they will now send me another letter, and their response will reach me before the 21/11/09.If I reject this they then have a further 28 days to reconsider their decision.
Then I get the chance to take them to the small claims court at last, what a time wasting run around before I get the chance to get any response from Thomsons.
                       Regards Alfie.
