:-?

I've been shouted at numerous times by Chris for saying I use copperslip on brakes ......  ;) ;)

Ohhh, whats wrong with that?

Obviously don't put it on the section which makes contact with the disc  ::) But i put it on the edges of the pad, where it touches the caliper.

..... and copper slip the edges.

Chris!!!!!    ::)  ::)  ::)  ;D  ;D
;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D  ;D Andy B you do make me laugh.

Just to clarify. As i recall, the debate related to the use of copper slip/grease on the slider pins. Something i think we managed agree in the end was not a good idea?
However i went further to suggest, apply it to the pad if you wish, might stop a squeak for a week or so, but anymore than that, in my experience, its a complete waste of time as an anti squeal solution. Purely because it just squidges out due the the pressures involved.

 Aside from that, i hope Mr B does not feel toooo shouted at? BLESS HIM! ;D
