Condensation
« on: 28 November 2009, 11:50:52 »

 Lately the car windscreen is always running with condensation in the morning or at night after work .... the scuttles are clear and dry and the cubby hole in the boot is empty with nothing blocking the vents ....carpets are bone dry , not losing any coolant into the car .... whats causing it  :-/

Thanks

running with eco pressed
blocked ac drains(only a theory, mine played up once}
ac not working( it has de humidifier built in)
or, hopefully not, and being an 02 car unlikely, heater matrix leak.

liquid in there somewhere....  :(

If i run with ECO pressed it steams up aswell .... have to have ac on so it doesnt steam up ... someone at work reckons the pollen filter ??  ... windscreen runs with condensation on inside like this morning and it was only slightly frosty  :-/

does the ac get cold when it should?

can you see any sign of water under the car from the drains by gear box?

if the pollen filter is blocked that will cause it to mist on inside as the vent is blocked
