auto jumps out of gear
« on: 28 November 2009, 14:56:30 »

Hi all,
it only seems to do it when cold and after breaking to a stop. Dont normally notice anything until you try and drive off again when the engine revs and then it jumps back into gear before you can drop it into any other selection. Never had it happen when the car is warm (yet). Is this likely to be more than a fluid change to fix it?

First port of call would be a fluid level check. If it`s dark brown/black will need changing

Am hoping it is just that, it is fine when warm and at all other gears and throttle settings. Cant check the level yet as cant get it up and level outside my house, but will check soonest.
