I think it's rather shocking that an OS comes without the capability to access any storage media invented after the 1980's.

Do you think we could put the driver on a cassette and load it through the sound card? Or maybe it supports punch tape?

Think I've still got a knackered commodore drive under the stairs somewhere, along with my speccy collection complete with microdrive and interface1.
How things have improved over the years.

I remember, a friend wanted a TV price for a second hand 1541-II (newer model)..

I become angry and go buy new  >:(
