Fitting replacement door mirror
« on: 21 December 2009, 21:08:17 »

I can't polish a car, let alone maintain one but I've just located a replacement door mirror.  Is it worth buying a Haynes and having a go or should I take it to some-one who doesn't have five thumbs on eah hand??

The triangular trim with the speaker just unclips IIRC, which reveals 3 screws, undo these screws, unplug the loom & that's it!  :y
NB You have bought another Elite mirror haven't you? They are slightly different electrically wise due to the memory settings. If you have bought a none Elite mirror you can always swap the guts over from your old mirror.  :y  :y  :y
