« on: 01 January 2010, 18:47:06 »

When adjusting the drivers side temperature control knob the passenger side should adjust at the same time to save having to reach accross......Mine dont do this so is it a fault or can it be re-set some how?...
Cheers...

Set driver`s side. Then push driver`s side button in and pass. side will set to same temp. Doesn`t set automatically, that`s why it`s called "independant" climate control :)

It is intresting to note that you can adjust the drivers and passengers temperatures, like one on low and one on high. Can the system cope with that?

Yep, it can cope excellent, Ive always found. Fairly sophisticated bit of kit, when you delve into the AC/CC system.

And the drivers side knob also controls the rear vents.

Actually I always found this a bit strange, as if theres the driver, and a rear passenger (bear in mind how many Omegas are taxis) then the rear passengers stuck with whatever temp the driver wants it to be. How much nicer 'twould be if you could use the front passengers control to alter the rear vents also.

Im not trying to nudge this off topic, but id love to know if theres a way of doing this,  think it would be a real improvement.

If you end up with all different temperatures blowing out, (driver, front passenger and rear passenger) you could have the situation where nobody is happy.  ;D
