I`d buy genuine at the earliest opportunity. Keep it in the boot for when the pattern one fails :)

v6 owners should always keep a spare anyway. Esp as dealers dont stock them!

My spare has only been in my boot for the last 7 or 8 months :y
And sod`s law dictates if you didn`t have one yours would have failed ;D

It was bought as a spare for going to France last year, it would be bad enough having one fail in the UK, but France would have been a PITA ....  ;)
Methinks TB would agree with that ;D
