Front head rests
« on: 06 February 2010, 12:37:44 »

Sorry if this is a stupid question but here goes. I have a 2003 Omega and I do not seem to be able to adjust the height of front headrests. I notice on the little inserts they go into it has the word "active" on all of them.

So are they non adjustable for height ?

Thank you.

I would think they are adjustable - they adjust up and down within the headrest if that makes sense - if your sitting in the back grip the headrest and tilt it forward, it should then slide up and down and you will feel the notches  :y

Is there not little plastic clips where the head rest goes in that need pressed to allow adjustment ?

Thanks for the replies chaps. On my old Mig the headrest moved easily on the notches actually in the padded part and the clips you press in on the seat allowed you to remove the hearest.

On the new one you still have the clips to remove the headrest and I have removed them easily, but as for any height adjustment it just won't budge, and I am no weakling  ;D

I dont know about removing the clips ??   On mine i belive you push the clips toward the front of the car i think which then allows the headrest to move up and down .... i will have to go and check  :-/
