no eml light

here we go.
   turn ign on no eml light,all other lights come on goes thro self check. wont start, tried paper clip test,no eml. still wont start.
  new crank sensor fitted last week, was running sweet untill today then it died >:(

Try changing the bulb first, once it's working again you need to paperclip it :y

If it doesn't come on with the ignition on .. either the bulb has blown or someone has removed it to mask a fault.

If you have access to a code reader you can check the latter without the bulb being present .. and I'll put money you have some sort of fault code !!!

I'll second that, i had no EML when i bought mine, someone had removed the bulb! No surprise, when i replaced the bulb and it was on! I got lucky in that it was only the o2 sensors at fault.

It will be a missing bulb - previous owner hiding a fault.

I`m assuming you`ve swapped bulb with a known good one yes?

new bulb that was tested 1st. ive put a new post up with more of a discription on.
