here we go again.. 3.0L facelift 2001 auto.
 car goes thro self test no eml light. bulb ok
  new crank sensor.
   checked for spark.  no spark.
   checked for fuel at lines no fuel replaced relays,no fuel check pump,no power to pump feed wire, but power to what i think is sender unit.
 
  the eml light does not come on even when the ign is first turned on.
    Any body near cambridge got a TECH 2...
 IM getting anyoed with it >:(

You say a new C/S has been fitted. If the sensor has developed a fault and died totally it gives the symptons you describe i.e. no spark and no fuel delivery. Not sure about the EML not illuminating though

the sensor was fitted last satday car was running fine till friday and died. sensor was a new one from auto-vaux.

I suspect a pattern sensor fitted.  :-?
