Immobiliser code.

Having spent an hour looking for my code card after changing the battery, and finding it I'm pleased to say, I wonder how the Immobiliser code is used. I don't need it, I hope, but it might be useful to know.

I also have a key code , what is that for, if the immobiliser does the key?

is it not for the ecu reprogramme should you need to replace the ecu?

You need the immobiliser code to  programme  it or the car will not start. The key code is needed to programme the alarm.

the key no.is for the blade of the key should be h**** the imm no should be **** you need the key no. to order a new key so that it turns the barrels and the other no. to program the new key to the car for immobilizer.I havn't a clue how to program the alarm/fob :y(you may use the imm,but i don't know)

The codes are used when the keyfob has to be re-programmed and the internal (tiny) key chip for the immobilser. A decent Tech2 machine is needed, and the knowhow to use it.
The metal blade of the key can be cut by any decent locksmith and the fob, provided it is the same type, can be re-programmed. The immobilser however  is a chip in the keys horsehoe section dedicated to the immobilser module and it cannot be disabled or bypassed.
