Hence I was not replying to that, I know all to well that 2.4.6 is the brake servo pipe side (see what I did there....no reference to drivers, passengers, left, right, port starboard or wot)

Which end of the brake servo pipe would that be?

Changed mine a few weeks ago... it is stamped on the coil pack which cylinders they are for - it's easy to read on the 1-3-5 side, but is obscured by the DBW trickery on the other... Straightforward job to change on the 2.6, except a bit fiddly to get the DBW wiring tray open in the cold weather!
There's also a cylinder layout stamped on the top of my block at the left hand side, looking from the front of the car

2 4 6 coil pack is the passenger side! ie LEFT as you're sat in (which ever side of) the car

246 is the cable tray side (1 hour and a battle)

135 is the fuel line side( easy job )

screw an appropriate size bolt into the the brass insert in the pack to pull them/it out. Avoid levering with a screw driver...
