sun glare off dash

does anyone else suffer from glare from the sun ect
off the dash that reflects in the windscreen. >:(

if so do you have any solutions?

I am tempted to cover with matt pvc sheet to
see if would stop glare!

You're lucky you've got sun to reflect off your dash! I was stood in the bl**dy snow today waiting for a recovery truck.  :(

Not really noticed it, bet it's worse with a lighter coloured dash.

I used to get that. It was like a HUD in a cockpit ! Changed the vinyl dash cleaner i used to a matt finish one and problem solved  :y

Sounds like a build up of cheapo polish, a good scrub should sort it.

My current Omega had this problem when I first got it - it's the dash cleaners that some people use that coat all the plastics in the cabin in that "wet look" and it took me a while to get all this stuff off.  Just wipe down with a micro fibre cloth soaked in warm water - you will need to do it a few times, probably, but this reduces the reflection onto the windscreen - then just rub over with a damp cloth every now and again.

clean with viniga like you would  with glass, also dont use polish to clean dash use a shoe cleaner pad no build up of polish. :y

I found the best way was dont polish it then the dust stops the glare ;D
