Coolant bridge repair:

Hi  i'm about to attempt to fix a leak at the coolant bridge.
    Can any one advise on which parts and codes before i visit vx ?

 o rings, ptfe tape.  you could if you wanted change the coolent sensor and temp sender while your down there. :y o yes some plasters as your bound to cut your self. :D

havnt done one for a while think they just copper. also doubt stealer will have them stock,local factors might.

must be very early - estate is early 98 and they were dowtys.  Stock item my stealer!

Never seen a V6 with copper washers on this part.....

Likewise, have always been doughty washers in my experience (and I've rebuilt a few '95 models too) :y

I have also done a few C25's off Cavs.....circa 94 era.

I am pretty sure that a copper washer would require additional clamping force to get a good quality water seal. Hence the dowty washers as they provide a seal via the rubber insert and a conductive path via the metal surround which ensures the temp sensor gets its 0V return path without over stressing the banjo bolt.
