Too many ploughed fields!
« on: 03 March 2010, 18:31:18 »

The Traktor (with 154K miles on clock) failed its MOT today.
N/S front lower suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated resulting in excessive movement
N/S & O/S rear sub-frame rubber bushes deteriorated resulting in excessive movement

What should this cost to remedy? (I will not do it myself but use local independant garage who service it every 3K miles)

pair of wishbones,Lemforder £110 from autovaux
Rear donut bushes, think they are £70odd from the dealer. Also try euro car parts.
Plus your garages labour rate.

Rear bushes arent tooo bad a job, if they come out ok. Fitting the new ones, if genuine, is merely a case of belting them in with a mallet in the correct orientation.
