Coolant Level Warning?
« on: 05 March 2010, 11:17:53 »

Hi all,

apologies for sounding dumb, but I've seen posts regarding this warning, but I'm still not sure what to do?

It was mentioned that rusted clips have caused this??  :-/

Can you please enlighten me as I'm a tadge slow!!  :)

Thanks guys!

Assuming your coolant level IS genuinely OK, its most likely sensor in bottle.

They CAN be repaired, but really difficult without breaking - I have repaired a couple, but broken around 10.

New bottle with sensor is around £24+VAT on trade from dealer.

Also worth just ensuring the float in the bottle is free to move up and down
