What Is It?
« on: 10 March 2010, 20:47:51 »

Changing my brake pads yesterday I noticed on the near side front wishbone some sort of potentiometer attached to the wishbone by way of a small tie bar type thing, what does that do?

Also, doing my headgasket the other day I removed the airbox and found a plug not going to anywhere. I think it was a 4 pin and had a dust cover over it which was like the female side of the plug. Whats that do?

Its a 2.5TD 1999.

Sensor on the wishbone is for the S/L Headlights... There's one on the rear trailing arm too :y :y

I believe you have an Elite with HID lights .. it is one of the two sensors for the HID level motors .. the other is on the rear suspension.

As to the other plug .. no idea ... not got a diesel..  :)
