Autobox query
« on: 12 March 2010, 21:46:33 »

Hi all,

Quick question I've noticed that when starting from cold the autobox seems to stay in first until the revs hit 5000 before changing. I've not had the tech2 update but in your valued opinions should I be concerened?

TIA
 :)

Mine holds onto about 3000 from cold, I'm led to believe it to help the cats warm
up.  Yours does seem
a little excessive though.  Don't think the update will change much either.  Do you toe it from cold or is it a gentle build up if you know what I mean.

try pressing snow or sport mode buttons, should snap it out of the cat warming mode :)

No I tend to build up speed gradually and it feels like the cars never going to change.
