On a funnier note....

 :)Heading back from Melton Mowbray in the truck this morning a pheasant found his way through my partly open window, smacked me in the ear'ole breaking his neck in the process. Long & short is he's hanging in my local butchers coldroom & will be ready soon. I love pheasant!!!!!!!!!! :P

I went right over the top of him.......and saw him Cooley carry on walking across the road in my rear view mirror!

 :)He won't be alone Mark. He'll be in good company with chicken & vegetable stock, celery, onion, carrot, couple of bayleaves, ground salt & pepper, served with buttered Jersey Royals & green beans.
   Might even garnish him with a sprinkle of flat leaf parsley. Finish off in the oven to crisp the skin whilst de glazing the cooking juices with a drop of red on a high heat lower heat, add butter to thicken & pour over. HHHMMMMMMM! :P :P :P
