Where do you get an engine wash from for a petrol engined omega 3.0?

I know diesels you can spray off with a power jet, well and old diesel land rover you can, I don't want to do this to the Omega lol.

Just changed the power steering pump and a bit of oil has spilt plus the m.o.t is due soon so i'd like to make it look nice.

There are several companies that make spray/brush wash on engine cleaners that you then wash off.One of the more popular and trusted ones is called Gunk and is very simple to use.You don't need to jetwash it off either.I hope this helps.

Hi m8,
 :DDespite many telling me that you cannot use a jetwash to do it read on..... I do mine every month with my powerwasher and the general purpose additive. It has never, ever failed to start afterwards and has been done now at least 50 times!
Just make sure you do not aim the water jet into the air intake and it should be dandy. If by some remote chance it misfires a bit, and mine never has, just give the top of the dis pack a quick burst of WD40.
The job will be a gudun.

I was thinking about those places that do services and do the engine clean as well, some what out of touch with garages as I don't use them.

as previous. spray every connector with WD40 then wash away. try not to point the lance at point blank range to sensors.

i just wipe everything like cam covers, plenum, air-intake, and metal work and such with a rag, takes about 2 mins, all comes up fine.

Given the amount of leccy components, and increasing poor quality of parts coming through from GM, blasting water in at very high pressure its a bit OTT in my opinion!
