Seat back keeps falling off!!
« on: 01 April 2010, 17:39:26 »

Hi, i'm new to this so forgive me i make a fool of myself for asking silly questions.

I have a problem with the seat in my Omega.  The rear of the seat keeps falling off exposing the canister for the airbags.  does anyone know how to fix it or where i can buy the replacement screws to secure it back.

Any help will be appreciated. thanks  debsx   :D

There shoud be a couple of hooks at the top of each seat back & a couple of self tappers at the bottom of each corner.

Any small self tappers should do the job, they don't need to be anything special. Is there even one left in either seat, which you could take to a diy store as reference?

Thanks for that.. Now why didnt i think of that? I'm normally quite good at working things out.. I even managed to change the battery myself without the alarm going off!

Will try the DIY tomorrow.  Have a good weekend..  debsx

Couldn't you have a look around your local scrap yards? I would imagine they're only pennies new from the dealers though.  ;)
