Fluid Leak Passenger Side.
« on: 13 April 2010, 07:37:12 »

Hello all,
Had oil and brake pipes changed two weeks ago.
Have noticed a few patches of oil under car since returning from holiday. Nothing when parked on the level-but only when on a hill.
The drips are coming from around the front passenger side area of the engine-I think dripping from the hole in the tray underneath the engine. Not sure if engine oil or Dextron.
I know the power steering pump is this side-but was wondering if it could be residue of any oil lost when the brake pipes were changed.

I'll keep an eye on it.

Any ideas please?

Steve

I had this kind of oil leak and traced it to the cam cover gasket, have since had the gasket changed and cured the problem.  :)

Thanks-I'll have a look-but I still think the oil is Dexron.
