temp gauge sensor location

Where is the temp gauge sensor on the 01 2.6,had plenum an all off recently and since rebuild its not working,had quick look round but cudnt see owt,any pics would be great,cheers all :y

If its the same as the 3.0 V6 then its attached to the coolant bridge at the back of the V. Plenum and all inlet off and you will see it (or at least where it should be) :y

Can get to with scuttle off, but easier to see with plenum off.  Then its just behind the intake manifolds, in middle of coolant bridge.  Its a single spade type connector that clips onto sensor.
