anyone have an idea why my x25dt engine only revs to 1388 rpm?
tried more and less fuel pressure but nothing changes  :'(

Do you have an EML light on?
Get the codes read.

Check all the intake ducting and pay particular attention to where it joins onto the turbo.

Mine was like that when the MAF went. Try unplugging the MAF and see what it does then.

That would have been my next step after confiming the intake is all ok.

I have seen a few where the pipe to the turbo has come off....not easy to spot with it being so low down.

all pipes are good !!
just a thought.....its got a range rover throttle position sensor on the accelarator pedal....the same as omega????

mine was the same as welungs unplugging the maf sorted it out :y :y

if x25dt and not u25dt, unplug maf as suggested!  Quick and easy test :y

If thats doesn't help, check wastegate not stuck open

Anyone got good eprom dumps? The ecu was reprogrammed to remove the immobiliser and maybe they corrupted one of them.

Does it rev fairly freely in Neutral?  Is EML on?
