Hi does anyone know how to free the centre seat belt on a estate as it just wont release its locked solid.

Do i need to take the seat apart???

I get the same on my Astra estate if I don't put slack in the belt before I drop the seat back. I've got round the problem so far  , by undoing the anchor point under the seat which gives it a bit of slack & allows it to wind back. It's tied in with the back release butons ie if they're not completely up then the belt isn't designed to reel back.
