what are the most common reasons for a misfire ??

i seem to have developed one today. cant be plugs as they are only about 3 months old. it idles then a big drop then back to idle.

I think it may be ignition coil? but at first i try to replace spark plugs

Clean the idle control valve and check for airleaks. Carb cleaner is handy for both of these jobs.

If you have No codes HT side Rich.
If it seems to be missing and running on 5 then plug or lead..

Try pulling a lead off (not when running

) see which makes no difference to the running of the car

If you think its running terrible running on 4 maybe then Dispack
