was the system checked for leaks, ie vacuumed & left for any length of time, if you had this done recently there must be ome kind of guarantee. I'd take it back. There relays etc, but I haven't a clue where they are.  ::)

Had it gassed by Kwik-fit-up so`s there`s my problem. Got a mobile AC guy booked for 17 June just wanted to check out the obvious

Rob - disconnect electric plug on compressor and put 12v direct from battery across the 2 pins on the compressor (maintaining original polarity) - you will hear a loudish clunk as the clutch engages - no noise clutch breaked  :(
