Does your EML (orange) light come on when you first switch to ignition ??

Assuming your EML works, then it can be safely ignored...

I presume you mean the (as my handbook refers to) engine electronics immobiliser (icon of engine/car with spanner thru).
Ok I'll check that and if it lights up I'll ignore it.

Are the heated seats and map reading lights working? 

If not check fuse 29.  I've had this code and this fuse was blown, and the above weren't working.  Its an ongoing problem for me...  >:(
