slightly stiff macpherson strut?
« on: 08 June 2010, 15:44:55 »

Back in February one of the MOT advisories was 'nearside front macpherson strut is slightly stiff in the upper support bearing assembly'
I want to sort some of the advisories well before next years mot and was wondering what to do to sort this?
It has been creaking around that area on full lock when your reversing out a driveway.

Thank you, so that's all they would want for it to not 'appear' on next test?

Unless of course they find something else to advise about.  >:( Surprising how many MOT failures/advisories are given for worn upper bearings on Macpherson`s

Not sure Charlie, might be worth a bell to see if they actually stock them, or you could try a motor factors :-/
