gearbox ecu 2.6 cdx

hi everyone,my name is martin and i am newbie,i am trying to locate the gearbox ecu,as i think their is a problem with it,sometimes the car drives mint,and sometimes it judders and i have to go through the gears,is this a common fault,any feedback would be much appreciated,

It's up behind the drivers kick panel under the dash but what makes you think the ECU is faulty?
Firstly have you checked the fluid level in the gearbox, consider changing the fluid and filter it has been known to improve misbehaving gearboxes before now.

thanks 4 the reply,will try oil level first not had the car long i am not that well up on the omega,s,faults
