Power steering leak
« on: 15 June 2010, 07:20:17 »

I've found that I have very annoying leak around PAS pump. It's difficult to see the exact spot and dont want to disassemble anything without methods to repair so I'd like to hear if anyone has had similar and might know if there is a common place where it leaks. It's not dripping oil, merely just keeping the left side of the engine dirty.

not sure exactly but problem seems to revolve around pipes themselves or the join to unions. GM reverted back to dexron 2 after upgrading to 3 for pas fluid due to leaking or porus pipes. So make sure its dex 2 when re filling.

Cant help any more than that, maybe others have had more experience?
