Hi,

Are you leaving a mobile phone inside the passenger compartment? as mine did that a couple of weeks ago and I found it was my daughters phone left in the centre console.  Removed the phone and problem went away.

This is a regular question including from myself, as in my case not always the powersounder, check the bonnet switch this can get damaged easily.

To keep the neighbours happy, don't lock it with keys or fob, shut drivers door open rear, lean round and lock drivers door from inside, with keys in hand! shut the rear passenger door, car now locked no alarm set.
Even locking car via key sets the alarm :y

I had the bonnet switch problem, I just unplugged it and taped it up, been that way for the last 5yrs :) I think my problem was relating to having a black car as it only went off in the summer/on hot days, I can only imagine that the heat generated caused the bonnet or bracket to flex slightly. Nice easy test though.
