On the facelift the connector end of the sensor is under the bumper in front of passenger side wheel. If you locate that just follow the wiring and you will reach the actual temp sensor

update i have now found the temp sensor it was plugged into random hole on chasis  on n/s of the car it has been tampered with at some stage the wires will not reach the hole in middle of the bumper, the sensor wires have crimped spade terminals on them slotted in to plug with 4 wires in it 1,bule/white 2,blue 3,black, 4, brown the sensor looks like it was connected to the two blue wires is this correct ? one of the pins in the 4 pin plug has rusted off and cannot be conected hense no temp reading on the mid. If connection is to the blue wires what are the black and brown for would it be ok to just cut off the plug connect whats needed and isolate the other two ?
TIA
