3 pin normally and 4 pin when the towing indicator warning light is fitted, if I recall correctly.

And make sure its not the hazard switch at fault first.

It's not broken, but I'm going to look at an estate tomorrow then when I get it home I want to swap all my LED bulbs over and the LED relay is a 3 pin on the Lexus.

You can buy LED replacements that have the necessary electronics built in to convince the car it has a standard bulb in place instead of LED, so there is no need to replace the flasher unit.
