Hello, recently replaced wishbones, drop links, tie rods/track rods, discs and pads on my 2000 3.0 elite. Just wondered if anyone knows of a good place in and around the northeast to do a full geometry set up as I can't seem to find anyone on any search engines. I asked in one garage and was alarmed when he said 'if your steering wheel is straight it'll all be ok!!' Obviously I lined it all up by sight the best I could but needs tweeking! Thanks

WIM have gone national.....
Use this website as though you were ordering tyres (don't worry you don't actually order them) and at step 5 you get a map of all the garages connected to WIM. I'm not sure where the local one is to you but it may help.

Was chatting to Tony about this on Friday. There are only 25 geometry centres.  He did say that they have to work to the same high standards he applies at Chesham and that he keeps a close eye on them now that he's trained them

But do they know how to use it properly? Full Geometry is understood by WIM and WIM associates and is not just 4 wheel alignment as you well know

I don't know whether these people are still operating, but maybe worth a try if Bolton is 'a bridge too far'
 Mind, I've never used them myself, so this isn't a recommendation by any means!

I'm sure they do - on the only occasion I've used them, they asked what I wanted and I gave them my requirements. they didn't bat an eyelid at 2degrees negative camber for instance

after all it's not rocket science, you only have front camber, front toe and rear combined toe/camber to adjust. Plus the steering damper, which I'm sure no-one does.
