Just re read your post lol i am going to check the float the weekend see if it just has crap around it.

If the float is broke i will take you up on the part mate is there any way i can check if the float is working or not or how do i check if the float is faulty

sounds to me like its the usual bullshit when the seller doesnt know that the in tank pump is shagged or dirty? 20 litres is where it wont start in the morning!!!
