Duggs, when your mechanic fits the new sensor make sure he routes the wire as per Markdtm,s guide rather than try to route it as per the original wiring. Its the proximity to the ex manifold which fries the wire internally and causes the problem in the first place.

this exact same thing happened to me, would start perfectly fine and run without problem until it warmed up then it played up. Not a very tricky job to change it and will purr like a kitten when changed
